Spring 2024 5K Registration for Parents/Family/Friends is OPEN!

* At this time, we are planning for a Live 5K Celebration Run!! However, should conditions change and for the safety of each of our runners, family members, coaches, and staff and we need to move to a virtual event we will communicate that as soon as humanly possible.

**Note: Remember all children in the RFK program are registered for the 5K event and no further registration or payment is necessary. Your children will receive their packets from their coaches during their last class. Each packet will contain; a Commemorative Finishers T-Shirt, Race Bib, and any Tokens your child earned (and did not yet receive) over the course of the season. The Finishers Medal will be given out at the finish line of the 5K. If you are unable to attend the event, please let your coach know ahead of time and she will place it in your race packet.

Spring 5K Information/Registration for the 5K

Location: Fairfax Corner (4100 Monument Dr. Fairfax, VA 22030)

Date: Sunday, May 19, 2024

Time: 8:00AM (late arrivals will not be allowed to join the race)

Cost: 5K Registration Fee for adults, siblings, and friends - choose from the following:

Adult (13 and over) - tshirt and non-chipped bib number (must reg. by May 8th) $40.00
Adult (13 and over) - non-chipped bib only - no tshirt - $30.00
RFK Alumni Child - must register by May 5th to receive a tshirt - $30.00
Child (5-12years) - must register by May 15th to receive a tshirt - $30.00

***NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!! ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY, May 16th AT 8:00pm

T-Shirt: To be guaranteed a t-shirt you must register by May 8th.

Bib Numbers: Bib Numbers (note: chip timing devices will not be included for the adults - our focus is on the children's accomplishments)

RunFit Kidz Participant Packet Delivery: Packets will be delivered to the RunFit Kidz participants at the last class. If you are unable to attend the last class packets will be available for pick up the morning of the race in the plaza at Fairfax Corner.

Parent Packet Pick-up: Parents and family members may pick up their packets on Saturday, May 18th at Potomac River Running in Fairfax (11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA) OR on Race morning at the Fairfax Corner Plaza. NOTE: If you choose to pick up your packet on race day, please arrive 45min prior to the start. Last year we had extremely long lines, so please plan accordingly.

***NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! IF THE RACE IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID - THOSE WHO REGISTERED PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE WILL STILL RECEIVE THEIR TSHIRT AND BIB # AND ALL RUNNERS WILL BE ABLE TO UPLOAD THEIR TIMES THROUGH A VIRTUAL RACE PORTAL.
